Royal Rumble: The Idol Wins

And so after weeks of furious voting the public has picked their own winner--and it ain't Hilary Duff. Sorry, dollface. You may have won our own royal ranking but you only nabbed 40 percent of the over 280,000 votes cast (which is pretty good compared to Avril's lowly 5 percent). Clearly Kelly Clarkson fans have well-honed voting skills and with 55 percent we now crown our Pop Queen. We can only hope you use this new power for good...like more songs as kick-ass as "Since U Been Gone."
